Founded in 2018, the Prince William Cardinals are a non-profit travel baseball organization dedicated to providing motivated and talented athletes with the opportunity to compete at a higher level. Our mission is to develop well-rounded players - both on and off the field - by fostering growth, discipline, and a love for the game.
Based in Gainesville, VA, our teams bring together players from across western Prince William County and surrounding communities. We proudly call Nokesville Park (Nokesville, VA) and Northern Fauquier Community Park (Marshall, VA) our home fields. At every level, we emphasize competing with passion, respecting the spirit of the game, and ensuring our players enjoy the journey as much as the competition.
About Us
The Prince William Cardinals offer a comprehensive travel baseball program that provides players with consistent development and competitive opportunities throughout the year. Our schedule is structured across three phases: fall season, winter workouts, and spring season.
Fall Season (August – October): Practices begin in early August, with teams training twice weekly. Competition includes weekend doubleheaders and/or tournaments, with each team determining the number and mix of local and travel events.
Winter Workouts (January – March): Following a short break after the fall season, players resume training in early January. Winter sessions are held twice weekly indoors and focus on skill development, strength, and agility to prepare athletes for the upcoming spring.
Spring Season (March – June): Beginning in mid-March, teams return to outdoor practices twice a week, complemented by tournaments (local and away) and weekend doubleheaders. The season typically concludes at the end of June.
Our year-round approach is designed to balance rest and recovery with skill development, ensuring players continue to grow both physically and mentally while competing at a high level.
